David and Clay will teach you the most creative lighting and compositional techniques ever! You will learn several new ways to make your lighting exciting. And they'll show you how to get the best lighting on your subject the first time, every time. Whether you use on-camera flash, off-camera flash or no flash at all, they will teach you how easy it is to make your images come to life when you learn to “see the light.” Lighting topics covered include how to light men, women, couples and groups. Learn how to take Ultimate window-light portraits and to harness the power and beauty of natural light and how the creative use of inexpensive reflectors can turn your portrait into a masterpiece.
David and Clay will also teach you to understand the secrets of composition. They will show you how easy it is to pre-visualize the image in your "mind's eye." Once you know the compositional secrets they teach, you too will see how easy it is to create that exciting image time after time in any location. Hand-in-hand with the art of composition, you’ll learn the art of posing also, including how to pose men, women, couples, and groups, and how to position hands and feet for elegance and style.
David and Clay also cover the best lenses and focal lengths to use and what the best camera settings are to use to create that dramatic image. They’ll methodically teach you, step by step, tried-and-true, easy-to-understand techniques to produce that dramatic image every time.

What To Bring
Camera Gear: Your camera, your best lenses, speedlight flashes (if you have them), a reflector, and a laptop.
Clothing and Toiletries: There are laundry facilities at the hotel, but no dryers, so it’s best to bring all the clothing you need for the week. Plan on bringing whatever toiletries you need with you as brands and availability will be different than what you are used to in your home country.
Hungary uses the Forint, which is widely traded with the Dollar, British Pound, and the Euro. The Forint has been exchanging at a rate of roughly 225 forints to the Dollar recently. Anything imported into Hungary will cost roughly the same price you are used to paying after the exchange. Hungarian goods, including food, are generally much less expensive than similar goods in the US, Canada, or Europe. I advise against changing currency at the airport, as it is much more expensive than using venues in the city and most establishments take credit cards. Your best option if you need Forints and are not at a currency exchange place is to use an ATM or Bancomat.
$2,495 per person attending the class which includes accommodations for seven nights, all meals on class days, all education and trips during the week including the excursion to Vienna. Prices start at just $500 additional for spouses/friends who are not attending class but will share your room. Discounts are available for multiple people. Please call us at 202-448-2895 for details.
You may pay in full $2,495 total or take advantage of an EZPAY Plan which breaks payments into three parts. If you choose EZPAY, a $900 deposit is required to reserve your spot, $850 is due on April 1st, and the balance of $850 is due June 1st ($2600 total).
