The Ultimate Photography Workflow with Jared Platt at the Camera and in the Lightroom:
Spend a week in beautiful Budapest with your camera and master of photography and post production workflow, Jared Platt. Learn how to move your images through the pipeline, from shooting on location to post production. If you have seen Jared online or in person, you know how valuable a little one on one time with him can be. This is your opportunity to have Jared all to yourself... almost.
In this workshop you will receive three days of in-depth, personal instruction in the classroom and in the field. In the classroom, you will learn how to manage your digital world, how to speed your images through post-production and how to get the most out of every image in Lightroom and Photoshop. You will also have shooting opportunities each morning and afternoon to shoot with Jared to capture images for your classroom lessons. During these on location sessions, you will learn how to choose and track locations, expose for post-production efficiency and get a gimps into Jared’s shooting methodology.
With three full days of instruction and a one day field trip to Vienna, you will have the most up- close and personal educational experience Jared has ever offered. You will work with Jared in the classroom and on location as a group and in tailored one-on-one sessions. Come with all your burning workflow, production, exposure, compositional and photographic questions... and take notes, because your head may explode!
This is a workshop experience that will truly change your life!
“Taking a workshop from Jared Platt was one of the BEST investments that we have EVER made in our business. The one day I spent in his workshop has completely revolutionized the way that we process our weddings and we have easily cut our processing time in half. -Airika”

Temperatures in Budapest will average a very pleasant 73 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and 54 degrees at night, so jackets/sweaters are recommended. The chance of rain is minimal, but bring a light rain jacket just in case.
What To Bring
Camera Gear: Your camera, your best lenses, speedlight flashes (if you have them), a reflector, and a laptop.
Clothing and Toiletries: There are laundry facilities at the hotel, but no dryers, so it’s best to bring all the clothing you need for the week. Plan on bringing whatever toiletries you need with you as brands and availability will be different than what you are used to in your home country.
Hungary uses the Forint, which is widely traded with the Dollar, British Pound, and the Euro. The Forint has been exchanging at a rate of roughly 225 forints to the Dollar recently. Anything imported into Hungary will cost roughly the same price you are used to paying after the exchange. Hungarian goods, including food, are generally much less expensive than similar goods in the US, Canada, or Europe. I advise against changing currency at the airport, as it is much more expensive than using venues in the city and most establishments take credit cards. Your best option if you need Forints and are not at a currency exchange place is to use an ATM or Bancomat.
